Baldur’s Gate 3 How to Change Party Members

Several adventures will meet you on your Baldur’s Gate 3 expedition. You’ll quickly realize, though, that you can’t bring them all with you at once. With so many creatures and opponents to face in Baldur’s Gate 3’s realm, certain characters will naturally be more effective than others in specific encounters and there may come a moment when you wish to switch around your party members.

Each possible party member has their own objectives that you may complete with them, but you can only have three friends at once. You’ll need to switch between them if you want to finish all of their side missions.

We’ll teach you how to switch your party members whenever you want in our Baldur’s Gate 3 guide. It just takes two steps, but there are a few details to be aware of.

How to change party members in Baldur’s Gate 3

When you have three members in your party, you can send a new prospective partner back to your camp anytime you meet them. They will patiently wait for you back at camp until you call on them as you go. You can visit your camp at any moment by fast traveling to it as a destination or using the minimap menu to take a lengthy break.

When you arrive at your camp, speak with an active party member and ask them to remain. This will remove that individual from your party, making room for a new member.

Next, speak with the party member you wish to add to your team and invite them to join you on your quest. When someone joins, they will get experience points to compensate for the XP you gained when you had other active party members. This is a fantastic technique since it does not penalize inactive party members while they are away.

You may go to your camp at any time, so go whenever you want to swamp characters. If you fast travel to your camp, return to your map menu and pick “leave camp” to return to your prior location.

That’s how to change party members in Baldur’s Gate 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
