Epic Games has a history of collaborating with popular franchises to bring their characters and items into Fortnite. In the past, we’ve seen collaborations with Marvel, Star Wars, and even Rick and Morty. Now, it looks like another popular franchise is joining the fray: Transformers.
Rumours of an Optimus Prime collaboration have been circulating for a while now. In February, a popular Fortnite leaker known as ShiinaBR tweeted a photo of what appeared to be Optimus Prime’s silhouette in Fortnite. The tweet was quickly deleted, but it was enough to get fans excited about the possibility of the Autobot leader joining the game.
A pic of the new season’s keyart has also been doing rounds on Reddit, in which Optimus Prime is seen.
The rumors were further fueled by a recent leak from HYPEX, another popular Fortnite leaker. HYPEX tweeted a list of all the rewards that players can earn by completing the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass. Among the rewards was a skin that looked very similar to Optimus Prime.

While these leaks are not confirmation that Optimus Prime is coming to Fortnite, they are certainly strong hints. Epic Games has a history of making good on these leaks, so it’s likely that we’ll see Optimus Prime in the game sometime soon.
If Optimus Prime does come to Fortnite, it will be a huge addition to the game. Transformers is one of the most popular franchises in the world, and Optimus Prime is one of the most iconic characters in pop culture. His arrival in Fortnite would be a major event, and it would likely bring a lot of new players to the game.
We’ll have to wait and see if Optimus Prime does come to Fortnite. However, the rumors and leaks are certainly making fans excited about the possibility. If he does arrive, he’s sure to be a popular addition to the game.
In addition to Optimus Prime, there are a few other Transformers characters that could potentially come to Fortnite. Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave are all popular characters who would be great additions to the game. It’s also possible that we could see some Transformers-themed items, such as pickaxes, gliders, and emotes.
Only time will tell what Transformers content will come to Fortnite. However, the rumors and leaks are certainly making fans excited about the possibility. If any Transformers characters do arrive, they’re sure to be a popular addition to the game.
