How to Open the First Door in the Temple of Bhaal

To unlock the first door before the Temple of Bhaal, use a ranged attack to kill the bodies hanging above the circular platform. The platform will be covered with blood as soon as they are hit, and the doors of Bhaal will slowly open. But this is merely the beginning; the true challenge is ahead.

If you haven’t yet visited the first door, you may locate it just adjacent to the Undercity Ruins portal. This is all part of the sewage system beneath the main city, and you can easily access it by using one of the manholes near Bloombridge Park in BG3.

After passing through the first door, you must kill Farslayer of Bhaal Ghislev before he completes his ritual. If you don’t get to him in time, the ritual will murder everyone in your group. On top of the Farslayer, there are a few foes positioned across the vast space to prevent you from reaching the Temple of Bhaal.

How to Open the Temple of Bhaal in Baldur’s Gate 3

You must have the Amulet of Bhaal and lay it on the entrance to enter the actual Temple of Bhaal. That implies you must complete the whole plot related to the Open Hand Temple murders before proceeding to the Candulhallow’s Tombstone building. There is a passage within that leads to the Crypt of Bhaal.

After entering the crypt, travel to Serevok Anchev while holding two of the Open Hand Murders’ hands. You must assassinate him and then obtain the Amulet of Bhaal for yourself. Return to the Temple of Bhaal portal and use the amulet at this point. Prepare to confront Orin on the inside.
