Once you have the key and the signal jammer, you can start the task by heading to the Lighthouse map. On the map of Lighthouse, you need to go down to Hangar 1 at the water treatment plant area and enter Building One.

You will start the task just outside of building one. As a point of reference, the two Rogues spawn near the water treatment plant from the opposite side of the map and the main bridge.

To complete the task, you need to go into building one and head all the way to the far right side. Then, hug the wall all the way down until you come to a door. This door is the operating room where you need to use the key to enter. Once inside, you will be prompted to place the signal jammer immediately.

You can place it anywhere in the room, and it has a 10-second timer. If you die while placing the signal jammer, you can come back and try again. However, if you place it successfully, the task will be automatically completed, and you do not have to survive an extract from the raid to complete it.

Tips for Completing the Broadcast Part 1 Task

If you are a USEC player, you will have an easier time approaching the water treatment plant, provided that nobody has shot and killed the Rogues yet in this raid, or that you haven’t killed them in one of your recent raids.

If either of those things has happened, then they will aggro onto anybody regardless of what faction you’re in. However, if you are a bear, you will be shot on sight.

If the ground Rogues have spawned in your raid and they are around building number one, they will aggro onto you as soon as you get too close. The goons may also spawn, but they tend to stay more so in the center and over towards building two and three, and sometimes when you enter into one of the three buildings.

When you exit the buildings, the rooftop Rogues will aggro onto you, even though you haven’t shot them, but just because you entered into the buildings.
