If you wanted to get the Ash Williams skin in Fortnite, you had to buy the ‘Fortnite Ash Williams Evil Lifeless bundle’ from the in-game store during the Fortnitemares event in 2022.
The bundle cost 2,000 V-Bucks, including the Ash Williams skin, a pickaxe, and back bling. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to get the Ash Williams skin now because it was only available during the Fortnitemares event in 2022.
Some people are saying that an Ash Ketchum Pokemon skin might be coming to Fortnite in 2023, but there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet.
It’s interesting to note that Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, recently acquired NZXR, which could lead to a collaboration between Pokemon and Fortnite in future.
In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, you can find NPC Ash Williams by going west of the Reality Tree and finding his house, the Knowby Cabin.
Ash Williams is usually hanging around outside the house, and you can talk to him to get a random item or buy an epic Lever Action Shotgun for 250 gold bars.
Additionally, there’s a Fortnitemares 2022 challenge that involves buying a shotgun from Ash Williams and dealing shotgun damage at the Knowby Cabin.
When will the Ash Ketchum skin be available in Fortnite?
Currently, Fortnite and Pokemon do not have any plans for collaboration. This means the Pokemon fans have to wait longer until both release any statement regarding their collaboration.
Despite this, rumours have been spreading that Fortnite and Pokemon might work together after a fan-made video of an Ash Ketchum skin went viral. But that was not true at all.
It’s important to remember that the video is not an official collaboration between the two franchises. The video was created by FeraalsVFX and YouTube channel. Although Ash and Pikachu’s story will end in an 11-episode miniseries in Japan starting on January 23, 2023, we don’t know if this will lead to a Fortnite-Pokemon collaboration.
It’s worth noting that Niantic, the creators of Pokemon Go, recently acquired a company that used to work with Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, on augmented reality (AR) technology.
Some fans think this could mean a Fortnite-Pokemon collaboration is possible, but nothing official has been announced yet. So, while we don’t know for sure if an Ash Ketchum skin will come to Fortnite in 2023, we can’t rule out the possibility of a collaboration between the two franchises in the future.
