Switch games have received a number of bad ports. Games like Apex Legends and Overwatch 2 cannot function at a reasonable level. The Switch-optimized version of the game or a high-quality port with some sort of cross-progression with the mainstream Call of Duty titles will be welcomed by players.

Call of Duty 3 has already done this with Modern Warfare, World at War, Black Ops, and Modern Warfare 3 on the Nintendo Wii and Wii U. Even though the games were well-liked, they were unable to compete with their PlayStation and Xbox rivals.

Activision changed its approach and began creating games specifically for Nintendo’s platforms rather than transferring the company’s hallmark games, which was a brilliant decision because the performance was significantly improved. The Nintendo Switch, one of the most competent handheld systems ever created, only falls behind Linux-based handhelds like the Steam Deck.
