If you are planning to get good ranks in the Mercenaries stages, only the S++ ranks are challenging to attain, and you can get an S rank across all stages, and all you have to do is get a minimum of 200,000 points. Here is a list of all the ranks and the scores you need to get them:
- C: Maximum of 49,999 points.
- B: 50,000 to 99,999 points.
- A: 100,000 to 199,999 points.
- S: 200,000 to 499,999 points.
- S+: 500,000 to 999,999 points.

There are a total of 4 characters you can unlock in the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s The Mercenaries. Here is a list of characters and how you can unlock them.

The Mercenaries have three stages to play at launch, each based on three main areas of the game.
