Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC release date

Capcom recently announced that it will release more downloadable content in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Rumors of ‘Separate Ways’ DLC have been prevalent since the release of the remake in 2021. However, it is only next week when players will be finally able to take the role of Assignment Ada.

Resident Evil 4 Remake ‘Separate Ways’ DLC will be released on September 21, 2023. It will follow Ada Wong’s story and journey that occurred concurrently with Leon’s mission of saving Ashley. The gameplay trailer features Ada battling giants, using bull ropes to make enemies lose their footing, while a TMP gun is slung around her back.

About Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways

The upcoming DLC will feature Ada Wong in her mission of infiltrating the headquarters of Los Illuminados and retrieving a sample of the ‘Las Plagas’ parasite for Albert Wesker. She will have Jack Krauser as backup. Given that her part in RE 4 Remake is usually at the end, she will have fewer or almost no scenes with Leon Kennedy.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways will also debut Ada Wong and Albert Wesker as Mercenary characters alongside Leon Kennedy, Luis Sera, Jack Krauser, and HUNK. You will be able to complete time attack challenges with Ada and Wesker in the Mercenary mode with their respective abilities and special weapons.

When will Resident Evil VR be released?

Alongside the DLC trailer, Capcom gave a sneak peek of the gameplay for Resident Evil VR. The graphics looked astounding. Leon battled with Krauser, the sea monster, and a bunch of Los Illuminados – confirming that there won’t be much change in either the gameplay or the story.

Resident Evil VR will be released this coming winter as per the trailer. The virtual reality remake of the popular game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and on PC via Steam.
