In the Season 3 update, two new Backpacks, Scavenger and Secure Backpacks, were added to Warzone 2 DMZ. These Backpacks allow you to move and secure more goods, and they can even keep you from losing vital treasure if you die. Continue reading to find out more about the Scavenger and Secure Backpacks in Warzone 2 DMZ, as well as how to obtain them.
How does the Scavenger Backpack work in DMZ
When you have a big backpack, you can carry a maximum of nine treasure items or valuables. When you equip the scavenger backpack, you can carry 11 different objects at once. However, there is a drawback. This bag occupies the third or stowed weapon slot, providing you with more vital slots.
This bag can be found as a global loot item while exploring closed areas and treasure caches. The new Barter system is the only sure method to obtain a Scavenger backpack. This bag can be obtained by trading the following goods, i.e., its recipe, at any Buy Station on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island:
- 2 Battery: Found inside toolboxes, computers, and on tables and shelves.
- 1 Canned Food: Found inside fridges.
- 2 Gun Cleaning Oil: Found inside toolboxes and on shelves.
How does the Secure Backpack work in DMZ
A Secure bag allows you to keep your things safe between deployments. For example, valuables that are normally converted to XP when you extract will be stored in your bag and can be deployed with in the following round. Furthermore, even if you die in the DMZ, your stuff will stay safe and accessible to you.
The Secure backpack, like the Scavenger backpack, can be bought at any Buy Station in Al Mazrah or Ashika Island in return for its barter formula, which consists of:
- 1 Electric Drill: Found inside toolboxes and on shelves, especially inside workshops and warehouses.
- 1 Gas Can: Found on shelves inside gas stations.
- 1 Gold Skull: Found in loot hotspots such as locked spaces and denied areas.
