Fau-G Domination Release Date and Gameplay Details

On July 26, 2023, during the Vijay Diwas, nCORE Games and Dot9 confirmed the development of Fau-G Domination. The game will be a sequel to Fearless and United Guards aka FAU-G that was released last year. Once again, it will compete against the shooting-game giants like Call of Duty and Battlegrounds Mobile India.

FAU-G did not live up to the hype last year. Although it was promoted as a third-person shooting game with battle-royale mechanics, similar to the banned PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, it turned out to be a melee fighting game. Glitches, bugs, rigid controls, lack of skillful gameplay, and average graphics were additional problems.

Despite obtaining 50 lakh downloads following its release in India, the game lost millions of players in a single week. The mobile game is rated below 2.5 stars in the Google Play Store. There is hope that FAU-G Domination learns from its past mistakes although the disillusioned Indian player base would rather look forward to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile or Indus Battle Royale.

FAU-G Domination release date

There has been no official announcement on the release date for Fau-G Domination. NCore Games only dropped a “Coming Soon” teaser on Twitter. Given that there has been no news about it on Independence Day (August 15), it could be released on Republic Day on January 26, 2024.

There is no news on whether it will be a battle-royale game or a story-mode-focused action game. The poster does hint at FAU-G Domination being a BR game: several soldiers carry guns, a helicopter and a tank can be seen in the background along with a soldier parachuting into action.

FAU-G Domination story details

While the previous FAU-G game focused on the Galwan Valley tensions between India and China, the upcoming sequel seems to also have a patriotic theme. The revelation of Domination was done in honor of the Indian soldiers that won the 1999 Kargil War against Pakistan.

Keeping in mind the date for the teaser poster, the next installment of FAU-G could have a story focusing on the Kargil War between India and Pakistan.
