How to Tame Monsters in Rune Factory 3 Special?
Begin by advancing through Privera Forest until you reach the tanuki, which acts as the boss within the forest.
After successfully defeating the Tanuki boss, proceed to the blacksmith’s shop in Rune Factory 3 Special.
Inside the blacksmith’s shop, locate Gaius.
Speak with Gaius and discuss the construction of a monster barn. Confirm the building process with him.
The following day, be present at the forge by 9 a.m.
Talk to Gaius at the forge.
If you possess 40 pieces of lumber, you can request the construction of a monster barn from Gaius. No gold is required for this.
Instruct Gaius to proceed with the construction.
Afterward, return to your fields, located below your home at the Sharance Tree. Your newly built monster barn will be ready for use.
To further develop your monster barn, start by giving gifts to the monsters residing within it. Keep in mind that different monsters have distinct preferences when it comes to gifts, with certain items being more favored than others.
Food items are generally appreciated, but some creatures have particular likes and dislikes. For example, a Wooly prefers apples over random colored grass found in fields or dungeons. On the other hand, Buffamoos tend to enjoy milk, an item they naturally produce, but they don’t favor apples.
You can determine whether a gift is well-received or not by observing the thought bubble that appears after giving it to a monster. A large heart indicates that the monster liked the gift, while a skull and crossbones symbolize their dislike.
That’s how to tame monsters in Rune Factory 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
