Bloodless is one of the numerous status effects that might affect you, your allies, or your Baldur’s Gate 3 opponents. While several have beneficial benefits, such as Aura of Leadership and the enviable Happy, Bloodless, predictably, is not one of them. You may have arrived here after allowing your BG3 buddy Astarion to drain the blood from your neck, like any good vampire friend would, so if you’re anxious to regain your health, here’s how to eliminate the BG3 Bloodless effect.
The Bloodless status effect applies the following debuffs:
- -1 to attack rolls
- -1 to saving throws
- -1 to most ability checks
You might be ready to let Astarion suck on your neck for these debuffs because he obtains Happy, which grants him +1 in all of the aforementioned categories. If you take him with you when you leave camp the following time, he’ll take those increased stats with him. Meanwhile, you may either maintain the nerfs or utilize spells to eliminate Bloodless.

How to remove Bloodless in BG3
By spending a long rest at camp with supplies, you can erase the Bloodless state effect. A brief rest isn’t enough to get rid of Bloodless, and neither is a long rest without supplies. If you don’t want to rest just yet, a Paladin, as well as anybody with the Lesser Restoration spell, can cast Lay on Hands to remove Bloodless.
A long sleep will cure you of everything. If you are unable to take a long break, you can purchase supplies from vendors or acquire them from chests, barrels, and other locations.
You must have a Paladin in your party who can use Lay on Hands to cure the target of any ailments or affects. Finally, one of the numerous beneficial BG3 spells is Lesser Restoration. Lesser Restoration may be learnt and performed at level 2 by a few Baldur’s Gate 3 classes, including Bards, Clerics, Druids, and Rangers.
That’s how to remove Bloodless in Baldur’s Gate 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
