If you don’t want to become a Mind Flayer, you need to discover a treatment for the parasite in your skull as soon as possible in Baldur’s Gate 3. The Mind Flayer parasites are feared as cruel aberrations due to their intrinsic psionic skills. Many creatures of the Underdark, such as Drow and Duergar, respect them.
Throughout your journey, you will meet companions such as Astarion, Wyll, and Gale. When your companions learn of your problems, they will help you in any way they can. But you might wish to avoid becoming a victim of fate! So, use this approach to see whether you can get rid of the parasite in Baldur’s Gate 3.

How to Remove the Parasite in Baldur’s Gate 3
When you free Lae’zel, she will recommend that you seek treatment in Githyanki Creche. Then you head to Druid Grove and meet Nettie, a Druid healer. When she discovers the parasite in your mind, she decides to poison you. You can then use the Persuasion Check to convince her out of it.
Following that, you might attempt the Goblin Priestess Gut. Of course, nothing is ever easy, and you soon discover that the larva infects the Priestess as well. The Priestess, like many other ladies you will encounter, promises to take care of your Tadpole issue, but you are poisoned once again. If you are drugged, you must pass the Acrobatics exams to be released.
Then there’s Auntie Ethel, a horrible Green Hag who has imprisoned Mayrina, a young pregnant woman. She will not do this service for free, so you must negotiate with her. She will remove your eye, not your parasite, once she has used her spell. Make careful to plunder her lair, though, since she’ll have plenty of expensive potions.
You can also aid the Druid Halsin by going to the Goblin Camp during the Save the Refugees quest. After you save Halsin, he will recommend that you visit Moonrise Towers. In the Underdark, you will also question Omeluum. He is a Mind Flayer who will converse with your larva once the right components are obtained. Of course, nothing will help, but he will give you the Ring of Psionic Protection.
That’s how to get rid of the tadpole in Baldur’s Gate 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
