Baldur’s Gate 3 What happens if you don’t Revive Gale

In Baldur’s Gate 3, if you do not revive Gale, the game will end after two long sleeps. If you take two lengthy naps without reintroducing Gale, your character will die on the third morning. A Game Over screen with an incomplete cutscene will appear and there is no way to avoid this. There are no techniques or fixes and you have a limited amount of time to bring him back or everyone will perish.

Gale’s body will be discovered two days after his death. This implies you only have 48 hours to return him. When Gale dies, his body is enveloped in an eerie dark aura that can deliver necrotic damage to anyone around him.

Then a phantom form of him appears to give you a lecture, warning you that if you don’t bring him back to life as he says, there will be problems.
