Zombies have been a beloved addition to shooting games and it seems it will soon be appearing on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The absence of zombie mode in the previous installment of the game led to major disapproval by fans, leading to Activision dropping major hints about zombies in MW3.
A blog on the official website of Call of Duty revealed that there will be zombies in “An All-New, Open World” similar to the previous ‘Outbreak’ game mode. Reportedly termed Outbreak 2.0, meaning a much larger world and game mode than that in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, zombie mode in Modern Warfare 3 will be an extraction survival PVE with the story focusing on Dark Aether Zombies.

Lately, a Call of Duty fan on Twitter made a massive discovery. MrDalekJD wrote the word ‘zombies’ to the official Modern Warfare 3 promotional phone number. He then got a link to a sound file, which when played, revealed the sounds of zombies similar to COD Mobile Zombie mode and those in Call of Duty Black Ops.
Sportskeeda primarily reported the fact. The teaser on zombie mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 eventually gained traction on Twitter. While no official announcement has been made about Zombie Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the latest promo event teaser confirms that there will be zombies introduced in the game soon.
