Mutators are unique items in Remnant 2 that add stats or passive boosts to the equipment they are attached to. The Twisting Wounds Mutator, for example, provides the Bleed effect to foes when hit by a weapon equipped with it. Like other Mutators in the game, you must get the Twisting Wounds by fighting a mini-boss, which we shall discuss in depth later in this tutorial.
Where to Find Twisting Wounds Mutator in Remnant 2?
The Twisting Wounds Mutator can be obtained by defeating the Grime Crawler mini-boss, commonly known as Gorge. This boss may be found in one of two places in Losomn: Cotton’s Kiln or Butcher’s Quarter. These are found in Morrow Parish, Ironborough, and Brocwithe Quarter, respectively.
Finding the mini-boss, on the other hand, has a slight twist in that it will appear at a random spot in Losomn. Stick to the left side of the map when you enter Cotton’s Kiln or Butcher’s Quarter.
You will eventually come across a region that, when viewed from the map, seems to be a closed area with a space in between, as shown in the image. You will then discover a hole in the wall through which you may squat.
Once on the opposite side, you must descend a hole in the earth to reach the sewers. Go down and to your right to locate wooden ledges that you may jump on to continue your descent.
Climb the hole to your left, then turn left again to locate a wooden wall you may leap over. You will then be trapped inside a labyrinth. Turn right on the first row to discover a lever that will summon the monster.
The fight will take place in a close-quarters environment with little to no room to duck or dodge Gorge’s assaults. There will also be some other opponents who spawn alongside him, but you must focus on the boss to survive.
Use all of your abilities to cause as much damage as possible, and it will be defeated in no time. When you finish the boss fight, the Twisting Wound Mutator will be immediately added to your inventory.
That’s how to get the Twisting Wounds Mutator in Remnant 2 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
