Does Replaying a Mission Affect My Progress in Red Dead Redemption 2?

Several missions are part of the action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2 story. Players may want to replay a certain mission for many reasons, like they didn’t like their progress in the mission or want a better outcome, and the common question they ask is whether it affects their progress.

When you replay a mission, it does not affect your progress it just places a default Arthur in play, a gunslinger outfit regardless of what you wore at the time of the mission. This won’t affect the game’s main storyline at all, and it is entirely for getting the gold achievements.

5. Once you select “New Game,” you’ll get a confirm motion notice to accept, and the game will restart.

You can keep manual saves from different campaigns but keep in mind autosaves saves over other autosaves, even if they are from a different campaign, so it is best you manually save before starting a new game just in case you ever want to go back.
