As part of the Ultra Unlock event, trainers who purchased the Go Fest 2023 ticket will be able to encounter Kleavor in Pokemon Go. Scizor’s Galar-region counterpart can be found in Tier-3 Raids in Gyms alongside Bombirdier and Turtonator.
Kleavor will be available in Raids from September 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to September 15, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. It sports a unique dual Bug/Rock typing that mostly has advantages, especially against dominant Fairy-Pokemon and Poison-type Pokemon in the leagues. With a CP cap of 3557, Kleavor can be used in Ultra and Great Leagues.
Here is the Kleavor Pokemon Go Raid Guide.
Kleavor Raid Boss weakness and counters
Possessing a CP of 23040, Kleavor will need a minimum party of five trainers with the ideal Pokemon type and movesets to be defeated. It also has a shiny form available in the Raids with a 1/20 odds.
Kleavor is weak to Rock-, Steel-, and Water-type moves. Thus, it can be hard-countered by the likes of Greninja, Swampert, Primal Kyogre, Mega Tyranitar, and Registeel. Spam either Hydro Cannon or Rock Slide to deal maximum damage.
Kleavor Pokemon Go best moveset
Kleavor can be obtained in the following CP ranges:-
- Level 20, No weather boost – 1791 to 1874 CP
- Level 25, Rainy or Partly Cloudy weather boost – 2239 to 2342 CP
The best moveset for Kleavor is Quick Attack Fast Move with Trailblaze and Rock Slide Charged Moves. Trailblaze (Grass-type) can be switched with X-Scissor for Bug-type coverage although it deals less damage. Rock Slide is the top Charged Move in terms of Rock-type EPS/DPS in its moveset.
Speaking of Quick Attack, it does have limited coverage but has a higher energy generation than Air Slash. It is due to this reason that Kleavor isn’t used in Go Leagues more often and is only used in PvE or for shiny collection.
