How to Fast Travel in a Mortal Shell
To travel quickly across the map in Mortal Shell, you have to get your hands on the Ornate Mask. You can easily buy it from Sister Genessa after you have unlocked everything that the Shell can do for you.
If you want to make your Shells even more effective, you have to spend Tar and Glimpses whenever you talk to Sister Genessa. You can obtain them easily by killing enemies, defeating bosses, and finding items in chests. Items such as “Remnant of Tar” give you a bit more Tar, and “Glimpse of X” provides you with more Glimpses than expected.
Even if you die, you won’t lose them (awesome, right!). But make sure you use them wisely, so you don’t run out when you want to upgrade your equipment.
Once you have completely upgraded your Shell, you can easily purchase the Ornate Mask from Sister Genessa for 30 Glimpses. You don’t have to be impatient to get one because it will always be available in her store.
To use the Ornate Mask in the game, simply place it in your quick-access bar for easy access. Then, scroll to it when you want to teleport. Once it’s selected, press the Q key, and it will display a list of Sister Genessa locations you have visited before.
Then, choose the location you want to travel to, and you will be teleported there. But keep in mind that it can’t take you to places you haven’t explored or found yet.
