Baldur’s Gate 3 How do Stats Work

OG Dungeons & Dragons fans will recognize the stats in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, not every player in the classic tabletop roleplaying game brand has the same level of experience.

We’re here to help gamers who don’t understand what the figures mean. Whether players refer to them as qualities or ability scores, they all serve a purpose.

The stats in this game will not be equally relevant for each character class. Depending on what you intend to achieve, each quality may represent something different in your case. If you’re wondering what they signify or which classes can profit from them, we’ve got you covered.

How Stats Work In Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 uses the following stats to work out various different elements of the game, including roleplay and combat.

  • Strength
  • Dexterity
  • Constitution
  • Intelligence
  • Wisdom
  • Charisma

Strength is used for feats of bodily force and devastation. Dexterity is employed in athletics and physical agility, such as flipping. In the game, constitution is how you gain health and stamina, because boosting those levels is critical to your survival.

Intelligence is employed for information checks, arcana checks, and other tasks that demand more than just passing knowledge. Wisdom and knowledge may seem similar, but they are employed for awareness, intuition, and genuinely knowing what is going on in your current circumstance rather than in history.

The easiest way to put it is that intelligence is what happened, and wisdom is what is now happening. The third one is Charisma, which is utilized for flirting and leadership and is essential in schools like Bard.

Certain classes and races also specialize in specific metrics, so you must experiment to achieve the greatest experience possible. Some of the game’s skill tests will be carried out automatically and without the need for you to roll a die in-game, with a pop-up indicating whether you succeeded or failed. The game will alter as a result, and the repercussions will be different.

That’s how stats work in Baldur’s Gate 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
