Baldur’s Gate 3 How to Get Rid of Poison Cloud

Dealing with numerous harmful components is part of the pleasure of Baldur’s Gate 3, although eliminating a whole poison cloud can be more difficult than extinguishing a single fire. In this guide, I’ll show you how to quickly remove any gas cloud so your team can pass through each zone undamaged.

Disadvantages Of The Poison Cloud

The major disadvantages of the Poison Cloud are:

  • Health Reduction: The toxic nature of these clouds inflicts damage on your character, gradually reducing their HP.
  • Status Ailments: The status ailments could also stop your character’s abilities and effectiveness.
  • Impaired Mobility and Actions: characters will have reduced movement speed or limitations in their actions.
  • Immediate Incapacitation: your character is unable to move, act, or contribute to the ongoing gameplay.

How to Clear Poison Clouds in Baldur’s Gate 3

The easiest ways to dispel poison clouds in Baldur’s Gate 3 are to use spells like Fog Cloud and Gust of Wind. These spells either push the poison gas out of the road completely or totally replace it with a fog that favors your party instead. Fog Clouds are more prevalent of the two possibilities, but I’d go with whatever is most plentiful.

Druid characters are more likely to have access to the Gust of Wind spell, whilst wizard-based classes are more likely to have Fog Cloud. However, scrolls for these spells may also be found in Baldur’s Gate 3. They may be bought or discovered all around the map. I have a couple Fog Cloud scrolls on my Fighter that I can cast for regular action points in a pinch.

Poison clouds can be set on fire in some situations, especially when they occur naturally. When they function, they tend to start chain reactions, although not all poison clouds in BG3 are the same. Setting fire to the environment isn’t always the best solution.

Poison clouds can be tied to difficulties like vents in regions like the Grymforge as well, and these need dice rolls or disarm tools rather than spells and fire. To fix these issues, I prefer Astarion, although any competent Rogue would suffice in BG3.

That’s how to get rid of poison cloud in Baldur’s Gate 3 as I’ll see you in the next guide.
