Hogwarts Legacy Reveal New Event with Harry Potter Actor Tom Felton

With the release of Hogwarts Legacy, a new chapter of the magical world of Harry Potter has been opened. Players can create new characters and explore the game’s interesting storylines, making them wish for even more.

For most of us, a particular Slytherin in the Harry Potter franchise captured our hearts, and now, with Tom Felton Hogwarts Legacy appearance, we’ll be able to see Hogwarts through his eyes.

Tom Felton’s Unexpected Collaboration with Hogwarts Legacy

If you’re an avid fan of the Harry Potter franchise, then there’s no way you missed Draco Malfoy. Although Hogwarts Legacy is set long before Harry Potter and none of the characters are featured in the game, players might get to see this Slytherin mastermind in the game.

Recently, Avalanche Software teased a new event through a mysterious TikTok video. In this video, we can hear Sebastian from one of the in-game quests quest greeting us. Suddenly, Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, appears from the darkness and says ‘Hello Sebastian’ while turning to the camera.

This teaser shook fans worldwide as they couldn’t wait to see what this magical world held in store for them. While the Tom Felton Hogwarts Legacy teaser didn’t exactly reveal the exact nature of Felton’s appearance in the game, it pointed to the coming event ‘Into the Shadows.’

Since the game took place long before the events of the Harry Potter franchise, many wondered if Felton would be joining the list of Hogwarts Legacy voice actors as a new character in the potential expansion of Hogwarts Legacy.

However, on May 9th, we soon discovered something else lay in store for all Hogwarts Legacy fans. In the event, we saw Tom Felton play the game, focusing on the quest with Sebastian, where players could learn avada kedavra

Felton was most Harry Potter fans’ introduction to Slytherin House. The films show his potential for greed, cruelty, and conflict with Harry Potter due to his wrong values. Therefore, this quest was well suited to the Draco Malfoy character.

Sebastian Sallow, the main character of the quest, is also a Slytherin. In the game, we see him turn to the Dark Arts to protect his sister.

It’s easy to see the connection between Felton’s famous character and Sebastian Sallow. Both characters are fascinated with things evil, and in the film, Draco becomes enslaved to Voldemort to protect himself and his family.

During the Tom Felton Hogwarts Legacy appearance, he acknowledges the interpretation of his character. Still, he insists he would rather create his legacy in the game than make Draco-inspired choices.

However, Felton similarly personalizes his character to Draco and celebrates when he is sorted into Slytherin. The question then becomes, ‘Did Felton choose to learn the unforgivable curse?’ You’d have to find out yourself in the recorded video of the event.

Despite Tom Felton’s Hogwarts Legacy appearance making waves, he isn’t the first character from the movie to collaborate with the game. Luke Youngblood returned to the game to voice four characters in the game. Youngblood was a Gryffindor student in the Harry Potter films who acted as a Quidditch commentator.
