How to Finish ‘Stage Actors’ in Octopath Traveler 2

In the “Stage Actors” side story of Octopath Traveler 2, we might think we’re bringing NPCs to the Stage Director. However, in reality, we’ll be facing off against a strong opponent! The Tropu’hopu NPC mentioned people who can show passion in battle, but all we need to do is fight this character.

Location: The Floating Theater

Head north of the main Tropu’hopu area to reach the Floating Theater. On the right side of the stage, you’ll find the formidable Stage Director. Keep in mind, this opponent is quite strong, with 7/10 marks, so it’s a good idea for us to be at least level 40.

Choosing Your Fighter

When we took on the Stage Director, we used Ochette. While Provoke limits us to monster usage, we discovered this opponent is vulnerable to sword, dagger, and wind attacks.

Enjoy the Aftermath

The best part comes after the battle! Depending on our performance, the story will take different turns. Make sure to save before completing the quest. The character who completes the side story becomes the star of their own “play.”

In our case, Ochette became a “maiden of mystery” on a quest to find her parents, encountering a new threat to her well-being. Even Akala played a role in the performance!
