Magikarp Evolution Scarlet and Violet: Everything You Need To Know

Magikarp is arguably one of the weakest Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Many have made fun of this little flippy-floppy fish until the tables are turned on them. This ‘useless’ fish can evolve into the fiery dragon-like Pokemon Gyarados.

Gyarados is a fierce water Pokemon with enormous fangs and one powerful tail that can cause great havoc when unleashed.

The evolution of Magikarp into Gyarados is based on a Chinese legend about carp leaping over a waterfall to become dragons. The waterfall in the legend is called the Dragon Gate, and it is said that carp that can successfully leap over the waterfall will be transformed into dragons.

So how can our lovely little fish transform into a powerful beast that is not one to mess with? Read on to find out how you can do this in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
