The green “Snotty Approved” badge, which adds an extra 1% to your Tower Completion level, is one of the unique badges you can acquire on your save file in Pizza Tower’s file pick menu. You may be wondering who Snotty is. Given how callously you undoubtedly handled him, I don’t blame you for not knowing.

Snotty is a striking green Cheeseslime creature that roams the fourth floor of the Tower called the Slum. You probably dashed-grabbed him into oblivion like the others, but all that accomplishes is to kill him and leave a really melancholy tombstone in his place, because he looks virtually precisely like every other Cheeseslime you’ve seen so far.

The Snotty Approved badge can be obtained by purposefully leaving Snotty alone. Don’t annoy him, don’t assault him, and don’t do anything to him. It’s OK since he’s not disturbing you.

After defeating Pizzahead and playing through the Crumbling Tower of Pizza at the conclusion of the game, you’ll be able to rescue Snotty along with the Tower’s other occupants. Get Snotty out of there, and you’ll have the badge (and a clear conscience).

Can You Revive Snotty?

Whether you slammed Snotty into the earth as soon as you spotted him, you’re probably wondering whether there’s a way to bring him back and collect that badge. The good news is that there is a method to resurrect Snotty. The bad news is that it involves some file editing. It will have no effect on your game, but if you have issues with file editing, you’re out of luck.

Here’s how to revive Snotty:

  • Launch the Windows Run application (Windows key+R for a quick launch) and enter “%AppData%” into the field
  • Press OK and your Roaming folder will open. Scroll down to the folder named “PizzaTower_GM2”
  • Open the saves folder, then open the saveData file with Notepad.
  • Use find in Notepad (Ctrl+F) and search for the word “Snotty.” You’ll find Snotty’s name in a list of game variables with values next to them. If Snotty is dead, there will be a 1 next to his name, so go ahead and switch that to a 0
  • Save and close the file
