Pokemon Go is celebrating its seventh Anniversary Party with valuable bonuses and in-game rewards. From July 6 – July 12, players can benefit from various 2X active bonuses relating to XP, Stardust, Candy, and even doubled friendship gains. A few Timed Research rewards are hidden behind a paywall.
There are two available research tickets during the ongoing Pokemon Go birthday celebrations. First is the ‘All-in-One #151’ Masterwork Research pass that could be bought for $5. Players can encounter a Shiny Mew after completing three quests, besides other in-game rewards in the unlimited-time event. Access to the special Masterwork Research will be available till 8 PM Local Time, Wednesday, July 12.
Next is the Pokemon Go 7th Anniversary Party Timed Research Ticket, which is available for $1.99 in the Poke Shop. It contains a bunch of rewards including a Rocket Radar and Premium Battle Pass for raids. The research will expire when the anniversary celebrations end on July 12 at 11:59 PM LT.
Missions and rewards in Pokemon Go 7th Anniversary Party Timed Research
The Timed Research makes players hustle from the get-go. To deal with the first two missions, use a Berry during each Pokemon encounter before capturing it. Don’t evolve your Pokemon until you buy the Research Ticket as the fifth task may get hectic. Finally, make good use of the day-to-day bonuses such as doubled evolving XP on July 12.
Below are the tasks and rewards for the Pokemon Go 7th Anniversary Timed Research:-
- Catch 77 Pokemon (reward: 1 Egg Incubator)
- Use 77 berries to help catch Pokemon (reward: 1 Rocket Radar)
- Hatch 7 eggs (reward:1 Lucky Egg)
- Earn 7 candies with your Buddy (reward: 1 Poffin)
- Evolve 7 Pokemon (reward: 1 Incense)
- Earn 7,777 XP (reward: 1 Premium Battle Pass)
- Earn 7,777 Stardust (reward: 1 Star Piece)
Completing each mission will award the player with a Super Incubator, 77,777 XP, and a party-hat Pikachu encounter. The research ticket is a must-have for those aiming to obtain Level-Up rewards and stock items.
Shiny Mew Masterwork Research in Pokemon Go
Players have a golden opportunity to catch a shiny variant of one of the most elusive Pokemon in the anime or game. Additionally, they have unlimited time to complete each mission. Note that the ‘All-in-One’ Research won’t be applicable to those who bought the 2021 Pokemon Go Kanto Tour Pass.

Note: Platinum Kanto Medal in Pokemon Go can be obtained by catching each Kanto region Pokemon, including their evolutions. This totals to 151 with Mewto and Mew being the last two rare Pokemon.

- Catch a Pokémon for 30 days in a row (reward: 51 Ultra Balls)
- Catch 151 different species of Pokémon (reward: 1 Glacial Lure Module)

- Catch 1,510 Pokémon (reward: 1 Incense)
Step Three completion rewards: Shiny Mew encounter, 1 Star Piece & 1 Lucky Egg
After completing Step 3, players are given a total of 8120 Stardust in the final Step. Collecting it will unlock Step 4 completion rewards which include 3 Charged TMs, 20 Mew Candy, and an in-game Shiny Mew shirt.
