Pokemon Go Adventure Week 2023 Research Rewards and Collection Challenge

Pokemon Go Adventure Week is underway. Players will be put to the task of completing tough collection challenges and research events. A free event-exclusive Timed Research is available along with event-exclusive Field Research and rewards, beginning on Thursday, July 27, at 10:00 AM LT and ending on Wednesday, August 2, at 8:00 PM LT.

Let’s start off with the event-exclusive field Field Research Tasks. Trainers will be able to capture Tyrunt and Amaura during special reward encounters. For the more difficult ones, they can get Omantyre and Cradily, and Pokemons required for completing Collection Challenges like Armaldo and Kabutops.

Field Research tasks and rewards during Adventure Week July 2023

  • Catch 15 Rock‑type Pokemon: Tyrunt or Amaura encounter
  • Spin 10 PokeStops or Gyms: Tyrunt or Amaura encounter
  • Walk 2 KM: Tyrunt or Amaura encounter
  • Hatch an Egg: Tyrunt or Amaura encounter

Max. and Min. CP of Tyrunt – 658 to 700 // Max. and Min. CP of Amaura – 545 to 584

  • Catch 50 Rock‑type Pokemon: Cradily encounter (Min. CP – 897, Max. CP – 947)
  • Spin 30 PokeStops or Gyms: Kabutops encounter ( Min. CP – 1107, Max. CP -1162)
  • Walk 7 KM: Omanyte encounter ( Min. CP 1138, Max CP. – 1194)
  • Hatch 5 Eggs: Armaldo encounter (Min. CP 1164, Max. CP -1221)

Pokemon Go Adventures Near and Far Event-exclusive Timed Research

There are four steps in the free Timed Research. Pokemon Go Adventures Near and Far Research branches into two types of research, namely Studious Adventure and Sightseeing Adventure. Picking one will give players specific research tasks.

Choosing Sightseeing Adventure will give tasks focused on collecting Pokemon, spinning PokeStops, and hatching Eggs. Choosing Studious Adventure will give tasks focused on catching specific Pokémon and completing Field Research.

  • Catch 3 Pokemon: Roggenrola encounter

Step 1 Completion rewards: 500 Stardust and Drilbur encounter

If taking the Sightseeing Adventure route:-

  • Spin 5 PokeStops: Geodude encounter
  • Walk 1 KM: 1500 Stardust
  • Catch 10 Pokemon: Amaura encounter

Step 2 Completion rewards: 3000 XP and Nosepass encounter

  • Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokemon: Dwebble encounter
  • Walk 2 KM: 2500 Stardust
  • Hatch 1 Egg: Tyrunt encounter

Step 3 Completion rewards: 4000 XP and Diglett encounter

STEP 4 of 4

  • Catch 15 Rock-type Pokemon: Amaura encounter
  • Walk 3 KM: Alolan Geodude encounter
  • Hatch 1 Egg: Tyrunt encounter

Step 4 Completion rewards: 5000 XP, 3000 Stardust, and Alolan Diglett

If choosing the Studious Adventure route:-

  • Send 3 Gifts to Friends: Geodude encounter
  • Walk 1 KM: 1500 Stardust
  • Catch 4 different species of Pokemon: Amaura encounter

Step 2 Completion rewards: 3000 XP and Nosepass encounter

  • Transfer 7 Pokemon: Dwebble encounter
  • Walk 2 KM: 2500 Stardust
  • Complete 3 Field Research tasks: Tyrunt encounter

Step 3 Completion rewards: 4000 XP and Diglett encounter

Catch 7 different species of Rock-type Pokemon: Amaura encounter
Walk 3 KM: Alolan Geodude
Complete 5 Field Research tasks: Tyrunt encounter

Pokemon Go Adventure Week Collection Challenge

There are four Completion Challenges in the event. Completing each of them will provide 6000 Stardust and encounters with Tyrunt and Amaura.

  • Dome & Helix: Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar (reward: Tyrunt encounter and 1000 Stardust)
  • Root & Claw: Anorith, Armaldo, Lileep, Cradily (reward: Amaura encounter and 1000 Stardust)
  • Skull & Armor: Shieldon, Bastiodon, Cranidos, Rampardos (reward: Tyrunt encounter and 2000 Stardust)
  • Cover & Plume: Archen, Archeops, Tirtouga, Carracosta (reward: Amaura encounter and 2000 Stardust)

Shiny forms of each Pokemon obtainable during the event will also be available. The best chances of getting a Shiny Tyrunt or Shiny Amaura is by hatching Eggs while other shinies need to be caught in the wild or reward encounters.
