Pokemon Go Community Day Classic (September 2, 2023)

The first Pokemon Go Community Day Classic of Season 12: Adventures Abound will be celebrated on September 2. Running through November, the season will feature two ‘classic’ versions of the five Community Day events. The dates for the events are yet to be revealed.

A clip shared by Pokemon Go on X titled “It’s gonna be lit” led to obvious assumptions that the featured Pokemon will be a fire-type. Many trainers believed the next Pokemon Go Community Day Classic event on September 2, 2023, is going to feature Charmander. This was confirmed by a report from LeekDuck.

Bonuses and Featured Attack for Pokemon Go Community Day Classic

Charmander Pokemon Go Community Day Classic event will run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Local Time on September 2, 2023. Lures and Incense will have a duration of three hours during this period. Chances of finding a Shiny Charmander will be increased due to the boosted spawn rates.

The main attraction of the Community Day Classic is the opportunity to evolve Charmeleon into a Charizard that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn. This fire-type Legacy Move boasts 110 power and is key to winning the Leagues or Raid Battles.

Event-exclusive Field Research task asking trainers to “catch 3 Charmander” will lead to either a Charmander encounter, 5 x Great Balls, 2 x Ultra Balls, 2 x Pinap Berries or 500 Stardust.

There will also be a Paid Exclusive Research for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), that will lead to additional encounters with Charmander among other rewards.
