Here are the three main ways to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon Go.

Field Research Tasks

One of the main ways to earn a Sinnoh Stone is by completing 7 days of Field Research Tasks. As you successfully complete these tasks, you earn a stamp, and earning a full week’s worth of stamps will grant you rewards such as rare items and materials, including Sinnoh Stones.

PvP Trainer Battles 

As you rank up with PvP trainer battle you earn different rewards and if you’re lucky enough you can earn Sinnoh Stones.

Team Rocket Battles

By completing team rocket battles against any of their leaders, you can earn a Sinnoh Stone. In order to participate in these rocket battles, you will need to use a Rocket Radar to locate them.

How to Use a Sinnoh Stone

Once you have the Sinnoh Stone you can use it go evolve the following Pokemon:

  • Kirlia (male) evolves into Gallade
  • Snorunt (female) evolves into Froslass
  • Rhydon evolves into Rhyperior
  • Electabuzz evolves into Electivire
  • Magmar evolves into Magmortar
  • Togetic evolves into Togekiss
  • Misdreavus evolves into Mismagius
  • Murkrow evolves into Honchkrow
  • Gligar evolves into Gliscor
  • Sneasel evolves into Weavile
  • Porygon 2 evolves into Porygon-Z
  • Roselia evolves into Roserade
  • Dusclops evolves into Dusknoir
  • Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine

To evolve your Pokemon all you need to do is follow these steps:

  • Click the PokeBall icon displayed at the bottom-middle of the screen.
  • Select Pokemon to open your collection.
  • Find the Pokemon you want to evolve and tap on it.
  • Make sure you have a Sinnoh Stone and enough Candy
  • Select Evolve
