Activision’s Call of Duty is one of the best shooting-game franchises that made its mobile debut in October 2019. It has since been a tough competitor to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile, racking over 650 million downloads last year.
The game offers both first-person and third-person competitive shooting gameplay along with modes such as Battle Royale, Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch, and more.
Season 6 of Call of Duty was unveiled on July 6 this year, featuring the return of Templar’s Oath items in the shop and the debut of Mythic Templar — Couteau’s Oath. Mythical Mission event is now available. Multiple other features were added including a new map, a new 5.56 AR, armada expansion, and new skins.

Can you play COD Mobile offline?
Currently, there is no feature to play Call of Duty Mobile offline. The game is heavily focused on multiplayer aspects, as seen by the debut of the new ‘4 vs. 4 vs. 4 combat mode’, epitomizing chaos and the need for skillful reflexes. Connecting to a strong WiFi is recommended before playing to avoid any lag issues or FPS problems.
Players may get tired of being dominated by PvP opponents. Luckily, they can use the Practice Mode in the game.
Activision made the feature of pitting the player against numerous ‘bots’ so that they could improve their aim and refine their reflexes. Get better in the game before trying to aim for the highest rank in Call of Duty Mobile.
Will there be an option to play COD Mobile offline in the future?
Back when Call of Duty Mobile debuted, a Reddit thread stressed the need for offline modes in the game similar to its PC counterpart. A single-player campaign could be played while in airplanes or places without any internet access.
Activision hasn’t officially revealed any plans to turn CODM offline but, in order to get an edge over Fortnite or PUBG Mobile, it may introduce non-internet-taking modes in the game soon.
