While some intrepid time travelers may have already witnessed the weekly fireworks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, most players have had to wait until Sunday August 2, to view one of the most significant changes to the August update.
The fireworks season means you can go out and see a little bit of a show to break up the monotony of the week. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about the new system.
Every Sunday during the month of August, there was a firework display. Because this is not hemispheric, the timetable will be the same for people in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres: The program begins at 7:00 PM.
There are a few additional interesting characteristics as well. The most noticeable will be Redd’s Raffle: the devious Fox has set up a raffle table where you may collect all sorts of knickknacks throughout the event. There’s no furniture or decorations, just a slew of sparklers, balloons, and other little party items. Check out Animal Crossing World for a complete list of his awards.
Besides fireworks, you mean? Well, animal residents gather around on the main plaza to enjoy the show – speak to them and they may give you a little present like a sparkler to celebrate.

How do I make custom fireworks?
To make custom fireworks for the display, you must first have a custom design ready to go. When you’ve found something suitable, approach Isabelle in the main square and tell her you’ve got a firework idea.
She will include your design in the lineup for the fireworks show, and you will watch it shot into the sky later that evening. Isabelle can have up to 10 distinct designs.
They will subsequently be intermingled throughout the evening with the customary fireworks. After the program has begun, you can still speak with Isabelle and change/add designs.
That’s how to watch fireworks in Animal Crossing as I’ll see you in the next guide.
