On August 3, 2023, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be completely released in Version 1.0. Of course, you can still play the Early Access by purchasing it on Steam. However, keep in mind that your progress will be reset once the final release is out, so it may be worth waiting a few more days at this point.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, players can expect to complete the main plot and certain side tasks in approximately 75 hours. However, if you hurry through only the main tale, it can be as little as 40 hours. A completionist run is said to take you past the 100-hour milestone.
In the first act, you’ll learn the story’s concept and why you need to find a treatment for your character’s ailment. You’ll soon explore Hell, then a Ravaged Beach, Druid Grove, Blighted Village, and dungeons like Dank Crypt, accompanied by formidable friends. Every NPC has speech, a viewpoint, or a quest for you, and they are all completely voiced.
Such a plot is extraordinarily extensive, with most games only covering half of it, and even that is regarded comparatively short, especially since it takes up to 50 hours to complete the main tale without exploring any side missions or locations.
