The unique hand cannons in Darkness in Light Destiny 2 are a blast in more ways than one. To get Malfeasance, you must first complete the Darkness in the Light mission in Destiny 2.

These missions are normally rather lengthy, but you’ll find a thorough guide to the Darkness in the Light quest below so you know exactly what you need to do.

I’ll guide you through each and every step so that you know what you’re doing. Here’s a quick summary of each stage.

Get the Seething Heart

To begin, you must get the Seething Heart, which can only be obtained by slaying the Ascendant Primeval Servitor monster in Gambit. You must win matches till the Servitor appears.

City of Secrets

Once you’ve obtained the Seething Heart, return it to the Drifter. He’ll then send you on a mission in the Dreaming City to battle 25 Taken bosses or minibosses. The Blind Well is an excellent place to complete this quest because it spawns numerous Taken bosses in the latter phases.

The Corrupted

After defeating the bosses, you’ll be handed a unique form of The Corrupted Attack. You may begin it by going to the Dreaming City map, and as a reward, you will earn the Depleted Weapon Core item.

Business As Usual

Be advised, this stage will take you back to Gambit. Make a good Fireteam since you need to win 10 Gambit bouts before dropping off 400 Motes. Any Motes you lose will be deducted twice, so strive to play as securely as possible, depositing them as soon as the waves conclude.

Lights Out

To advance, you must defeat 25 Guardians in Gambit, kill four adversaries in one invasion, or have teammates kill four foes in three invasions.

After completing the mission, you will get the Dark Weapon Core item. Bring it to the Drifter, who will exchange it for the Malfeasance canon. Hope the article helped as I’ll see you in the next guide.
