How to Get Better Loot & Escape in Dark And Darker?
If you want to get better loot in Dark and Darker, you have to use the golden key to enter the treasure chamber behind the golden door. You can either purchase the key with 1000 gold, loot the key from an enemy or loot the key from the skeleton champion.
To save their stuff and leave safely in Dark and Darker, players must discover Blue shattered headstones. These escape portals appear at random places on the map and may be accessed by hitting the F key on your keyboard.
After that, step through the portal and you’ll be led to the lobby with all of your treasure stuff. The portal spawn may be identified from a distance by its rumbling stone sounds and a pop-up notification on the screen.
Because each portal may only be used once, keep it safe or else other players will take it and leave you to face the wrath. However, the activation procedure just takes a few seconds, so don’t rush towards it and instead wait for the perfect time. If it doesn’t work, you will forfeit your hard-earned treasure and be eliminated on the ground.

Also be advised that the Red Headstones don’t operate the same way as the Blue ones because they don’t let you escape and instead transport you down the floor to greater difficulty level lobbies.
Players will battle high-level foes, but with plenty of rewards. So, if you intend to harvest resources, Red headstones, called the Down gateway, are exactly what you should interact with.
