Every month, Pokémon Go hosts The Community Day event, which highlights a certain Pokémon and offers enhanced wild spawning, greater Shiny chances, special moves on evolving, and extras like longer Incense duration.
The majority of players can now participate because Community Days now run for three hours and are held on the weekends. Along with Spotlight Hours, they rank among the most popular events of Pokémon Go.
Axew Community Day Pokemon Go Guide
The Axew Community Day event for Pokémon Go took place on June 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. local time in all regions. Axew spawned in large numbers during the Community Day event and had a good chance of being shiny. There were a number of additional benefits as well like:
- 3x XP for catching a Pokémon
- 2x candy for catching a Pokémon
- 2x chance for level 31+ trainers to get XL candy from catching a Pokémon
- Incense active for the entire duration of the event
- Lure Modules for the entire duration of the event
- Axew photobombs when taking snaps
- +1 special trade
- 1/2 Stardust cost for trading
Shiny rates during Community Days are approximately 1 in 24, so if you continued to play throughout the event, you could stumble upon a good number of shiny Pokémon.
In case you don’t have enough time or Poké Balls, you could light an Incense, rapidly tap each Axew to see whether it’s shiny, and ignore any that aren’t. It’s important to note that any Axew you’ve already pressed will face the direction your player is facing, making it easier to tell which ones you may have already checked.
During the event, Fraxture could learn the charged move Breaking Swipe if you evolved it into Haxorus. The Pokémon is greatly enhanced by Breaking Swipe in every league, and it has an excellent shot of winning the Master Premier Cup and other themed cups.
Breaking Swipe is a rigorous improvement for Haxorus because it is identical to Dragon Claw but guarantees a drop in Attack against the enemy.
It provides the glass cannon Haxorus with a much-needed defensive ability, much like Lunge did. Shields enable Haxorus to build debuffs and defend itself against initial blows while performing at its finest.
Furthermore, users had access to the premium, event-only Special Research called Keeping Sharp during Axew Community Day. Here is all the information you need regarding Keeping Sharp in Pokémon Go
