Emanating from Randall’s Island Park, trainers who purchased the Go Fest ticket will be able to capture Mega energy for Raquaza while completing the Mega Diancie special research. A lot of bonuses will also be active during the event.
Globally, Pokemon Go Fest: New York City event will be celebrated with the Noxious Swamp event from August 18 to August 20. The event will have different spawns and Raids from those occurring in the NYC Go Fest. Three Shiny Pokemon will also make their debut during the extravaganza: Shiny Skrelp, Shiny Golett, and Shiny Unown.

NYC Go Fest 2023 trainers will have four physical Pokemon habitats to explore at Randall’s Island. These will rotate from time to time, allowing the audience to capture specific Pokemon in their habitats using augmented reality.
The spawn changes will also occur throughout New York City depending on the habitat chosen during the event. For example, if the Prehistoric Volcano is set, trainers will encounter Dratini, Slugma, Kangaskhan (exclusive to Australia), and more.
