Ursaluna in Pokémon Go?
Ursaluna is called to be a peat Pokémon in the game. It is considered to be the final form of Teddiursa.
Ursaluna first appeared in the Hisui region in the game Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and it finally started to appear in Pokémon Go as well. It is the first Pokémon that has both abilities for ground and normal types.
Ursaluna is different from its earlier form, Ursaring. It walks on all four legs and has mud called peat on its back and paws.
On its forehead, there is a big yellow circle that looks like a full moon hidden behind two clouds.
According to the Pokédex, Ursaluna got its strong body and ability to control peat from the swampy areas of Hisui.
How To Ursaluna in Pokémon Go?
To get an Ursaluna in Pokémon Go, you need to evolve a Teddiursa. First, you have to evolve Teddiursa into Ursaring by using 50 Teddiursa candies.
Then, to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna, you need to use 100 Teddiursa candies during the night when there is a full moon yes it is a long process but you have to do it.
It is exactly similar to how you can evolve Eevee into Espeon during the day and Umbreon at night in Pokémon Go, Ursaluna’s evolution depends on the real-world lunar cycles. A full moon occurs approximately every 28 days, so it’s not very rare.
The next full moon will happen on August 1, 2023. If you miss that one, you can also wait for the full moon on August 30.
What are the best moves that Pokémon Go Ursaluna has?
Ursaluna is not very strong in Pokemon Go, even though it is big and heavy.
However, it does have some good move sets that can be useful for battling in gyms, raids, and defeating Giovanni, Arlo, Cliff, or Sierra in Pokémon Go.
The recommended moveset for Ursaluna is given below.
- Tackle (Fast attack)
- Thunder Punch (Charged attack)
- High Horsepower (Charged attack)
The move High Horsepower is especially effective because it gets a bonus for being the same type as Ursaluna.
However, you can only teach Ursaluna High Horsepower by evolving it during a special event called Teddiursa community day.
