You can either buy the Smithing Stone 5 or farm it 

• To Buy A Smithing Stone: You can buy it for 1200 rupees from Twin Maiden Husks that you will find in the Round table 
• Raya Lucaria Academy: You can farm one from the corpse at the end of the iron ball trap.
• Wyndham Ruins: you can find one on the body in the southern section of the ruins 
• Nokron, Eternal City: you can find one here on the corpse, which is in the corner of the courtyard, one in the corpse of the graveyard, in the corpse on the ruined supporting structure, and one on the corpse in the column in the ruin.
• Siofra Aqueduct: you’ll find one on the corpse sitting with the flowing water.
• MT Gelmir: One will be found north to see the water river.
• Ainsel River Main: you can find one on the corpse in the cave 
• Castle Sol: You’ll find one under the wooden platform in front of the main gates.

Altus Plateau: You can find six here

1. The first one is the first stone on the furthest wall in the first cavern after the site of Grace.
2. You’ll find the second one at the second cavern’s entrance after Grace’s site. 
3. Go ahead and check the wooden walkway for the third smithing stone 5.
4. The fourth one is in the same cavern as the overgrown root.
5. You’ll get the fifth stone with the boss door to your left at the cavern’s entrance.
6. The sixth one is with the root on the left with the boss door.

Redmane Castle: You can find two here

1. The first one is on the corpse in the southernmost building of the castle.
2. The second one is at the top of the southeast tower of the castle.

Sellia Crystal Tunnel: You’ll find a total of 5 here 

1. The first one is in the hidden chamber after the site of grace. 
2. You will find the second one In a chest in the same chamber’s west.
3. The third one is along the overgrown roots in the tunnel at the bottom of the lift chamber.
4. In the same chamber, you will find the fourth one on the wall of the wooden stairs.
