The year’s biggest tournament, Worlds 2022, will be played on League of Legends patch 12.18. Last time, it was played on the 12.17 patch, and this time around, there will be a few minor changes with the update. These changes will focus on making small improvements to champions that were buffed in the previous patch.
The fighter Udyr was disabled for the Worlds 2022 because the new champions and VGUs should be enabled in playoffs in all four top regions so they get playable at the following international tournament policy.
Champions like Miss Fortune, Hecarim, and the recently adjusted Maokai will receive some touches. Furthermore, the update will have some general balancing and tuning for a better experience.
