Reality Seeds are a new item in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 that can be used to plant Reality Saplings. Reality Saplings will grow into trees that produce high-quality loot, including weapons, shields, and healing items.
Where To Find Reality Seeds in Fortnite
They are obtained from Reality Seed Pods or can be harvested from Reality Seed Saplings. The best place to find the Pods is Reality Falls if you are looking to get your hands on some reality seeds.
To recognize the Pods, it looks like a big purple bulb with blue light coming out of it. It is a pretty big tree so it can be seen even from afar.
To obtain the seeds, you must first break it with your pickaxe and the seeds will fly out of it so all you have to do is just catch one.
How To Use Reality Seeds in Fortnite
Once you have found some Reality Seeds, you can plant them by throwing them at the ground. The seeds will glide through the air and land on the ground, where they will begin to grow.
Reality Saplings will take some time to grow. Once they are fully grown, you can harvest them for loot. The loot that you get from a Reality Sapling will be the same rarity as the seed that you planted. For example, if you plant a Rare Reality Seed, you will get Rare loot from the Reality Sapling.
You will also need to take care of your Reality Saplings by removing weeds which tend to grow around them in order to get the best loot.
You can check your tree’s progress on the map by checking the text box on the left to know whether it needs to be tended to.
Reality Saplings can be replanted after they are harvested. To do this, simply pick up the sapling and throw it on the ground. The sapling will then grow into a new tree.
