Once you have successfully equipped Beyond Light, you’ll need to complete and put Eramis on ice for a brief period, and then you have to head to Charon Crossing, where you have to speak to Variks – the Loyal. This Eliksni is a Europa vendor, which is a way you can access the three empire hunts.

  • The Warrior
  • The Dark Priestess
  • The Technocrat

Each of these hunts features unique bosses that you must bring down. These are a campaign mission of Beyond Light, and these hunts should be familiar.

The difficulty level you choose for this is higher, and the chance that the cloud strike will drop. If you can’t find the Empire Hunt difficulty level, check if you have enough sabotage missions for Variks, that’s when you can find the Empire Hunts.

You’ll need to finish:

  • European Explorer 1
  • European Explorer 2

It may take a few times before you get it. The 1180 variant is the easiest. You can easily power through it in under 10 minutes with a whole fire team. You can skip most of the big fights. So only kill the enemies you have, especially the bosses, and you will receive the reward, one of which could be the Cloudstrike.

What is The Catalyst for Cloudstrike?

The Cloudstrike has a catalyst in Season of the Seraph, over two full years after its release, and the players who have been lucky enough to get their hands on it can add triple Tap to this rapid-fire sniper repertoire.

The catalyst only drops from Destiny 2 Playlist activities, and it does not come with a unique quest; this means the players will either have to hit the Crucible, Gambit, or Vanguard strike nodes to earn it.

The catalyst drop is random, so it is unnecessary to grind for it. It’s best to pair the grind with the Pinnacle gear grind to multitask (even though the Pinnacle grind will likely not exist past season 20).
