From the castle gates, go North through the doors, past the Grace Site, and into the plaza, where you will meet NPCs gathering for the Radahn Festival. Ignore them for the moment, and go right instead, where you will see a series of stairs and a teleporter which will lead you from the castle southeast, back towards Greatbridge.
Turn right on the castle gates and head down a cliff, where you will find the secret pathway around the castle. You will notice you are at the higher ground where you can engage two of Lions Keeper’s enemies that are wandering near the castle gates.
Redmane Castle Walkthrough: Resetting the Castle
You begin in a room with a chest in which you can take some items to help you on your journey. There is a passageway to the right, which is blocked by an item called the “Lion Misbegotten Warrior”. A passageway in the same room leads to the Grand Lift of Decius.
In the Radahn Festival is active, all the combatants in Redmane Castle and its neighbouring will evaporate, the Waygate from the Impassable Greatbridge site of grace to the location of Chamber Outside the Plaza area of grace will activate, several doors will be closed, and the plaza will hold several NPCs training to participate in the Radahn Festival, including Blaidd and Alexander.
The Castle will be restored to its former status. If Starscourge Radahn Festival is activated, and you have not defeated another boss group, then those naturally will revert to the castle after you have defeated Starscourge Radahn.
At the beginning of the game, the castle in Redmane will be filled with enemies, with all rooms accessible, with a final square that contains a boss battle against Misbegotten Warrior & Crucible Knight.
