The survivor can encounter Megalosaurus mostly sleeping during the day or hunting at night in caves and jungles on the following islands in Ark Survival Evolved.

How You Can Tame Megalosaurus In Ark?
The best time to take Megalosaurus is day because in day time their attack is weaker. However, you can also tame it at Night as its a nocturnal creature it becomes aggressive and harmful if you have the right traps you an also tame it at Night. But as we said, the Day time is best.
The easiest way to tame Megalosaurus is using a trap to build a trap with 3 archways with 2 open gates and Bear Trap. One trap is ready to lure the Megalosaurus when it follows you. Simply enter through one open gate and avoid the bear trap. Once Megalosaurus entered the archways simply close both open gates.
Fire the tranquillizer darts until the Megalosaurus is knocked out and start the taming process. In order to tame Megalosaurus you need to feed him it preferred food and that is Meat or Superior Kibble.

Megalosaurus Saddle
In order to craft the Megalosaurus Saddle you need to be level 57 and spend 50 Engram Points to access the crafting recipe. Once you have the recipe you need the following items to craft Megalosaurus Saddle.
- 320x Hide
- 170x Fiber
- 30x Metal ingots
Megalosaurus Breeding
When male and female Megalosaurus meet each other for breeding The time interval of the breeding is around 14 to 48 hours the female Megalosaurus will deliver the fertilized Megalosaurus egg. That looks blue in color with sliver spots on it.
Once you have the Egg place it at a temperature between 26 °C and 32 °C in order to hatch the Megalosaurus baby. Mostly the hatching process takes 1.5 hours and then 9 hours of your attention with lots of meat. Once the Megalosaurus baby gets juvenile status it can feed itself.
